Testing task: Navigate forwards to a partially checked checkbox in reading mode

With NVDA in reading mode, describe how NVDA behaves when performing task "Navigate to the first checkbox. Note: it should be in the partially checked state. You may need to press certain commands (such as Down Arrow) multiple times to hear all information relating to the checkbox."

Test instructions

1. Restore default settings for NVDA. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on a link before the first checkbox.
3. Insure NVDA is in browse mode by pressing Escape. Note: This command has no effect if NVDA is already in browse mode.
4. Navigate to the first checkbox. Note: it should be in the partially checked state. You may need to press certain commands (such as Down Arrow) multiple times to hear all information relating to the checkbox.
5. Using the following commands, Navigate to the first checkbox. Note: it should be in the partially checked state. You may need to press certain commands (such as Down Arrow) multiple times to hear all information relating to the checkbox.

Success Criteria

To pass this test, NVDA needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

1. Role 'checkbox' is conveyed
2. Name 'All condiments' is conveyed
3. State of the checkbox (partially checked) is conveyed
